What a way to get to reach maiden Test half-century for both young players Shardul Thakur and Washington Sundar at the Gabba Test.

The duo registered the highest seventh-wicket partnership for India at the Gabba, Brisbane and even broke the record of Kapil Dev and Manoj Prabhakar.

Thakur, who opened his account with a six off Pat Cummins, reached his half-ton with a maximum. As for Sundar, after picking a three-fer with the ball, he put on a terrific performance.
